We teamed up with The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation to share Sammi’s incredible story, working closely with her family and doctor to bring a deeply personal and powerful narrative to life.
We filmed over two half days with a producer and camera operator, spending time at the family home to interview Sammi’s parents, Alex and Mark and capture b-roll with their kids, Kass, Remy and Sammi herself. These home scenes gave us the warmth and family moments that really grounded the story.
We also dedicated an additional half day at The Royal Children’s Hospital to sit down with Sammi’s treating clinician. This allowed us to bring in the medical perspective and show just how extraordinary her journey and recovery have been.
The result is a heartfelt, high-impact video that not only tells Sammi’s story with care but also highlights the groundbreaking work happening at RCH. The campaign went on to raise over $400,000, showing just how much her story resonated.
