Armstrong’s, the licensing specialists, wanted a recruitment video that represented who they are as a company, something bold, quick paced and action packed. This was the first non-health based video we produced after Melbourne’s COVID lockdowns so we were excited to create something fun. From the outset Armstrong’s let us know that they were open to letting us run a little wild with the type of shots we would go for as well as in the edit. We spent a day at their premises shooting trucks and drivers from all angles. We pulled out all the stops for this one, from a series of on the ground camera shots to high up in the air via drone, we made sure Armstrongs hit the mark and stood out from the crowd. The edit was characterised by quick cuts timed to the backing track with some fun transitions to keep viewers engaged. By combining static and dynamic shots we were able to transform a basic recruitment video into something that was visually appealing and exciting.
