Caroline Chisholm Society Video Production: Family Services Case Study
The Caroline Chisholm Society reached out to us for video production to create three new client videos and refresh their Family Services Program video. Our goal was to capture a mix of voices, including clients who accessed services like perinatal support and housing, alongside practitioners working in both frontline and senior roles.
We aimed to make these case studies personal and heartfelt. To achieve this, we filmed against a black paper backdrop, keeping the visuals simple and intimate so the stories could shine through.
Pre-Interview and Filming Process
For one case study, we first met Marciele during a pre-interview where she shared her journey. We walked her through the filming process, ensuring she felt comfortable and confident about what to expect on the day.
Marciele’s Story
Marciele was expecting her first child when she realised she needed stable housing and extra support. With no family nearby, she was connected to the Caroline Chisholm Society through her maternal health nurse. With support from CCS, she found a safe home, received essential baby items, and had regular check-ins throughout pregnancy and early parenting.
Now, as her daughter Alora prepares to start childcare, Marciele feels ready for the next chapter, supported by the confidence and guidance CCS provided. Her story highlights the real impact of not-for-profit services and why sharing these experiences through video can inspire others.
