Edstart help schools and parents of schoolkids deal with school fees. The project is Socks for Support. In 2021 Edstart asked us to make a short video showcasing the recipient of their Achievement Award Winner, Benjy. Benjy created his own charity that collects and distributes socks to the needy, homeless or people displaced due to natural disasters. We spent an afternoon at Benjy’s house, interviewing him about the project and what it meant to him to win the award. We shot b roll during the same session, a lot of socks, and made sure the family dog (almost as big as Benjy) featured prominently.
