Mecwacare Beyond School Program Video – Preparing Young Adults for Life
We teamed up with Mecwacare to produce a Mecwacare Beyond School Program video. This program helps young adults build confidence, independence, and practical skills as they transition into life after school. The program runs across two locations and offers streams in creative arts, recreation, independent living, vocational pathways, and community involvement. Overall, it prepares participants for adulthood and helps them navigate real-life challenges successfully.
Filming the Mecwacare Beyond School Program Video
For the video, we spent a full day filming at Mecwacare’s Fisher Street Centre. We captured participants actively engaged in group activities, workshops, and skill-building exercises. Additionally, we filmed interviews with a participant’s mother and the centre manager, Lawrence, to highlight the program’s impact. By combining candid action shots with personal stories, the Mecwacare Beyond School Program video shows the program’s real-life benefits.

The final edit goes beyond a standard promotional video. It illustrates the program’s structure, outcomes, and most importantly, its impact on young adults’ lives. Moreover, the video tells a story of inclusion, growth, and opportunity, inspiring families and community partners to get involved.
