Fitted for Work
This non-profit fundraising video was created for Fitted for Work, a not-for-profit organisation that supports women and gender-diverse people to become work ready, gain employment and achieve financial independence. Over the past 20 years, the organisation has supported more than 49,000 people through programs that build confidence, capability and long-term opportunity.
The Brief
Fitted for Work needed a non-profit fundraising video to introduce its Giving Circle initiative. The goal was not only to explain the program, but also to communicate why it exists.
Importantly, the video needed to feel personal, authentic and emotionally engaging. It had to reflect the lived experiences of the women supported by Fitted for Work while also showcasing the community of donors and supporters behind the initiative. Ultimately, the film needed to inspire viewers to become part of the Giving Circle and its impact.
What We Did
Pre-Production: We developed a storytelling approach centred around three key perspectives: leadership, community members and lived experience. As a result, the film feels less like a traditional explainer and more like an invitation into the Giving Circle community.
Additionally, we created a detailed shot list to ensure the visuals could carry as much emotional weight as the interviews. This helped us capture genuine moments that would reinforce the story throughout the film.

Production:
Two half-day shoots were conducted to capture interviews and supporting b-roll.
The first shoot featured a participant who had accessed Fitted for Work’s services, alongside the organisation’s CEO. Together, their perspectives highlighted both the personal impact of the program and the vision driving the organisation forward.
Meanwhile, the second shoot focused on a donor testimonial. We also captured additional b-roll to showcase the environment, community connections and broader impact of the program.
Post-Production: We crafted the footage into a compelling three-minute non-profit fundraising video that balances authentic interview-led storytelling with engaging visuals.
Furthermore, the edit was designed to create an emotional connection with viewers while clearly communicating the purpose of the Giving Circle. Through carefully selected interviews, thoughtful pacing and meaningful imagery, the film highlights Fitted for Work’s mission and community impact.
Results of the Non-Profit Fundraising Video
The finished non-profit fundraising video provides Fitted for Work with a powerful storytelling asset. Rather than focusing on a detailed explanation of the initiative, the film invites viewers into it.
As a result, audiences gain a deeper understanding of the dignity, care and support that underpin the organisation’s work. The video brings together leadership vision, donor participation and lived experience to showcase the Giving Circle as a shared movement for positive change.
The final film can now be used across fundraising campaigns, stakeholder engagement activities and digital channels, helping Fitted for Work continue to grow awareness and support for its mission.
